This July, Equestic is heading to Australia to join CANTER CON 2026, a two-day national conference created specifically for equestrian coaches who want to connect, learn, and feel part of a broader equestrian coaching network.
Equestic joins Canter Con Australia 2026

Organised by Equestrian Australia (EA), Pony Club Australia (PCA), and Riding for the Disabled Australia (RDA), CANTER CON will take place at Melbourne Showgrounds on 25–26 July 2026, transforming the Victorian Pavilion into a shared learning hub for practical workshops, sector insights, and genuine cross-discipline collaboration.

The conference has been created with one clear purpose: to bring coaches together. CANTER CON stands for Coaching Advancement through Networking, Training, Education and Relationships, reflecting the event’s vision of coaching the future together through collaboration.

During the conference, coaches will have the opportunity to experience EQ Coach-Copilot and explore how it can support everyday coaching practice.

Helping Valuable Coaching Guidance Go Further

A great lesson can include dozens of observations, corrections and exercises, yet it is not always easy for riders to remember everything once the session is over.

Developed specifically for equestrian coaches and riders, EQ Coach-Copilot records the coach’s instruction during a lesson and automatically creates a clear, structured lesson summary for the rider to review afterwards.

This helps riders remember key feedback, understand what to practise between lessons, and arrive better prepared for their next session. For coaches, it supports lesson continuity while reducing the time spent writing lesson notes after training.

During CANTER CON, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Experience EQ Coach-Copilot during an on-site coaching session.
  • See how a lesson is transformed into a structured lesson summary.
  • Discover how lesson summaries can support communication and learning between lessons.

One of the highlights of the weekend will be an on-site coaching session with Gary Lung, demonstrating how EQ Coach-Copilot can fit naturally into everyday coaching.

Gary is an Equestrian Australia Level 2 Dressage Specialist Coach based at North Maclean, south of Brisbane. He runs Windhill, a training establishment specialising in developing horses and riders through to FEI level.

Join us in Melbourne to experience EQ Coach-Copilot firsthand and discover how technology can help strengthen lesson continuity and support coaches and riders beyond the arena.
