No, you don’t have to. The standard app functionality is free for one horse. If you want advanced functionality or more horses you will need to subscribe. Find all Subscription info here

Does the SaddleClip also work on Western saddles?
Yes, the Equestic SaddleClip can be used on Western saddles, but since Western saddles are more diverse in design than English saddles, the compatibility depends on the specific saddle type. It is recommended to send a photo of your Western saddle to Equestic’s support team (service@equestic.com) to confirm proper fit.
Does the SaddleClip also work for Toelt and pace?

Does the SaddleClip measure the speed or distance?
The Equestic app does not record the distance (in kilometers) or speed of a ride. Its main features focus on providing detailed measurements related to the horse’s gait, rhythm, symmetry, impulsion, and transitions, among others.
If you need to track distance or speed, combining the SaddleClip with a separate GPS-enabled device or app might be an alternative.

What Warrenty does Equestic offer?
European legal guarantee naturally applies. Legal guarantee means that a product is or must do what you as a consumer can reasonably expect from it. In addition, we offer a one-year factory warranty for normal use (free replacement or repair when defect). If you want to invoke the warranty, send an email to service@equestic.com describing the problem. We will contact you within a week maximum (but usually the same day).
